Software Engineer supports delivery by building and enhancing enterprise application components, integrations, and data structures using an AI‑first engineering approach—where automation and AI‑enabled workflows are treated as default solution patterns when appropriate. This role sits within IT, aligned to HCM Portfolio Leadership, and supports forward‑deployed engineering (FDE) delivery teams, contributing to both initial builds and ongoing sustainment under the guidance of senior engineers.

What You Will Do

Build and enhance full stack application components across front‑end, back‑end, and integration layers, under the guidance of senior engineers supporting enterprise solution delivery, including initial releases and iterative enhancements.

Contribute to solutions using an AI‑first mindset, incorporating AI‑enabled workflows and automation where appropriate and supportable within IT standards.

Develop and support API‑based integrations and batch/mass data processing workflows under established architectural patterns.

Assist with data modeling, database design, and data structuring to support scalable and maintainable solutions.

Collaborate with senior engineers, business stakeholders, and IT delivery partners in a cross‑functional, FDE model to move solutions from concept to production.

Support testing, deployment, and post‑release sustainment activities, including defect resolution and minor enhancements.

Follow enterprise standards and controls (e.g., security, access, change/release, testing), including additional controls for systems subject to ITGC/SOX where applicable.
