About the Platform
Learn about our mission, founder history, revenue model, and how our manual verification checks compare to automated job aggregators.
CampusToCareer is a structured, early-career career ecosystem built specifically for Indian students and fresh graduates. We reject the model of automated, unvetted aggregators. Instead, we combine active verification tools with expert-reviewed guides, real candidate interview reports, and free application tracking utilities to give entry-level candidates a unified, reliable dashboard for their career journey.
Unlike automated aggregators that scrape thousands of unverified listings, our team manually verifies every job posting. We check that listings point to official careers portals and reject suspicious links or recruiter fraud. In addition, we act as a publisher of original, expert-reviewed career advice guides rather than generating thin filler pages. Every job detail page on CampusToCareer includes an original candidate preparation guide with interview tips, salary context, and application strategies — content you will not find on any other job board.
The platform was founded by Sumit, a developer who wanted to create a simpler, cleaner way for freshers to find verified roles and stay consistent with preparation. Sumit coordinates our engineering and content curation teams to keep the platform free of spam. What started as a shared spreadsheet of verified job links for friends and batch-mates evolved into the full-featured platform you see today, serving thousands of Indian students with zero fees.
CampusToCareer is funded through Google AdSense display advertising and limited, clearly disclosed corporate sponsorships. We never charge students for any service — job discovery, career guides, application tracking, and interview preparation tools are all completely free. Sponsored content is always labeled and separated from our editorial content. We do not accept paid placements in organic job search results, and our editorial decisions are independent from our advertising relationships.
Job Listings & Applications
Understand how we source, verify, and retire job postings. Learn about our 14-day freshness policy, how to apply, and what to do when a listing has expired.
Our editorial team follows a multi-step verification process for every listing. First, we identify the job posting on the company's official careers portal (Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, or their own website). We then verify that the application link is active and functional, cross-check the role details (title, location, experience level, batch eligibility), and confirm the posting date. Listings from unverifiable sources, third-party recruitment agencies, or portals requiring upfront fees are automatically rejected. For a detailed breakdown, read our How We Review Jobs page.
Stale job listings are one of the biggest complaints students have about existing job portals. Many aggregators keep listings indexed for months — long after the position has been filled. Our 14-day freshness policy ensures that every active listing on CampusToCareer is genuinely open and accepting applications. When a company re-opens a position, our team publishes a fresh, updated listing with the latest requirements. This policy protects your time and ensures you are never applying to a role that has already closed its pipeline.
No. Once a listing expires on our platform, the application window at the company has typically closed or moved to a later hiring stage. However, we recommend visiting the company's official careers page directly to check if the same role or a similar one has been re-opened. Many companies — especially service-based firms like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro — run multiple fresher hiring drives throughout the year.
Our editorial team adds new verified listings daily, Monday through Saturday. The frequency depends on the hiring activity across companies. During peak placement seasons (August through December and January through March), we typically publish 5 to 15 new listings per day. During off-peak months, the volume may be lower but the verification standards remain identical. Join our Telegram channel to receive instant notifications when new jobs are published.
Yes. If you know of a legitimate fresher hiring opportunity that is not listed on CampusToCareer, you can submit it through our contact form or community channels. Our editorial team will verify the listing against the company's official portal and publish it if it meets our verification criteria. We cannot guarantee that every submission will be published, but we review all requests within 48 hours.
For Students & Candidates
Find answers about applying to jobs, the application tracker, Code Daily practice environment, mock interview modules, and using our free candidate tools.
Yes, all job discovery, career guides, interview preparation roadmaps, and application tracking tools are 100% free for students and candidates. We will never introduce a paywall for candidate-facing features. Our platform is funded through display advertising and corporate sponsorships, not student fees.
Each verified job listing features a direct application button. When clicked, it redirects you directly to the official corporate careers portal (such as Greenhouse, Lever, or the company's website) where you can securely upload your resume and apply. CampusToCareer never collects your resume or application data — we simply provide the verified link to the company's own system.
Our free application tracker lets you organize your job applications in a single dashboard. You can log job titles, interview dates, follow-up statuses, and salary details, shifting your preparation from messy browser tabs to structured momentum. All tracker data is stored locally in your browser — we do not upload or share your application data with any third party.
Code Daily is our built-in coding practice environment where you can solve DSA problems, practice SQL queries, and work through algorithm challenges directly on CampusToCareer. It is designed to help freshers build a daily practice habit without needing to jump between multiple platforms. Problems are organized by difficulty level and topic, and the environment supports multiple programming languages.
Yes. Our mock interview module simulates real HR round questions and provides structured prompts for behavioral storytelling using the STAR-L framework (Situation, Task, Action, Result, Learning). While we do not currently offer live human mock interviews, our self-paced modules help you practice common fresher interview questions and structure your answers before the real conversation.
Career Guides & Content
Learn about how our career guides are written, reviewed, and updated. Find out about contributing content and our editorial quality standards.
Our career guides are written by professionals with direct experience in Indian hiring — including former interviewers, hiring managers, placement officers, and career coaches. Every guide is reviewed by our editorial team before publication for accuracy, originality, and actionable value. All guides undergo rigorous editorial and originality checks before going live.
All published guides are audited every 60 days and updated to reflect current hiring trends, salary benchmarks, and industry changes. When a significant change occurs — such as a major company revising its interview format or new placement season patterns emerging — we prioritize updating the relevant guides immediately. Each guide displays a “Last Updated” date so you know how recent the information is.
Yes. While many of our guides focus on software engineering and technical roles (which represent the majority of fresher hiring in India), we also publish roadmaps and preparation guides for product management, data analytics, QA engineering, DevOps, and business analyst roles. Check our full guides library to browse all available topics, or filter by category to find guides relevant to your target career path.
Yes, we accept contributions from professionals with relevant hiring or mentorship experience. All submissions must be original, India-relevant, and at least 1,500 words with clear headings, checklists, and FAQs. Submissions are reviewed by our editorial team before publication. Visit our Write for Us page for submission guidelines and pitch instructions.
