At CampusToCareer, we believe that transparency is essential for building trust with candidates, recruiters, and search evaluators. Many job search boards operate as closed systems, scraping listings without checking their safety or sharing statistics.

We publish quarterly transparency reports to share our curation numbers, moderation details, privacy metrics, and error corrections. We believe this public ledger helps maintain high trust standards and protects candidates from exploitation.

3. Spam & Fraud Curation Breakdown

Protecting our community means actively screening out deceptive postings. During Q1 2026, we blocked or removed 184 listings. The main reasons for rejection were:

  • Placement and Training Fees (42%): Postings that required candidates to pay for training, certifications, or materials before applying.
  • Unverified Recruiter Domains (28%): Account sign-ups claiming to represent major brands but using free email services.
  • Multi-Level Marketing & Comm-Only (18%): Deceptive marketing structures lacking base salaries.
  • Stale or Inactive Links (12%): Application URLs that were closed or inactive before posting.

4. Editorial Corrections & Accuracy Audits

We strive for accuracy, correcting errors quickly and transparently. In Q1 2026, we resolved 12 corrections:

  • Typographical & Link Edits: 8 cases. Covered simple typos and broken external redirects, resolved within 24 hours.
  • Structural & Info Corrections: 4 cases. Covered changes to eligibility years and compensation estimates, updated with a correction note at the bottom of the page.

5. Guide Maintenance & Interview Moderation

We audit our career guides to ensure they reflect current tech standards. In Q1 2026, we updated 84 guides, refreshing technical coding answers, resume checklists, and formatting blueprints.

Additionally, we moderated and approved 1,420 interview reports submitted by candidates, ensuring they contained constructive tips and did not violate corporate NDAs.

6. Privacy & Deletion Audits

We respect user privacy and do not keep candidate data longer than necessary. In Q1 2026, we processed 112 user deletion requests, purging candidate tracking history from our databases within 72 hours of submission.

7. Future Transparency Commitments

We plan to publish transparency updates at the end of each quarter. We are also building tools to help users track job flagging metrics in real time.
