We are seeking an AI / Software Engineering Intern to join our Workforce AI organization in Dublin, CA. This role provides hands-on experience building AI-enabled, cloud-based workforce intelligence solutions, with meaningful exposure to system design and UX design practices.
The intern will work closely with engineers, product managers, and UX designers to help deliver solutions that are not only technically sound, but also intuitive, accessible, and user-centered.
In this role you will...
Engineering, AI & UX Collaboration
Assist in developing backend services, APIs, and AI-enabled features under the guidance of senior engineers.
Support implementation of features that align with UX design specifications and user flows.
Collaborate with UX designers to understand user needs, workflows, and usability considerations.
Help translate UX designs, wireframes, and interaction patterns into well-structured, maintainable code.
Participate in discussions around system design, technical architecture, and user experience trade-offs.
Platform & Delivery Practices
Support development in AWS-based environments.
Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to support Workforce AI use cases.
Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and sprint planning.
