Sandvik Mining & Rock Solutions (SMR) is a leading supplier of equipment and tools, services and technical solutions for the mining and construction industries. Our application areas include rock drilling, rock cutting, crushing and screening, loading and hauling, tunneling, quarrying and breaking and demolition. To our Regional Planning department at Patancheru, we are now looking for a 2-year development program as Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) to join us.
Your scope:
This is a 24-month structured development program designed to groom you into a Regional Demand & Inventory Planner role.
To be more specific, your main responsibilities to handle in this position are:
Ensure safety, employees’ health and support all the EHS initiatives along with other managers & maintain communication.
Support sales planning through data-driven forecasting and business insights
Analyse and challenge forecasts to improve accuracy
Manage demand variations and ensure optimal inventory levels
Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to ensure product availability
Contribute to S&OP processes and regional planning activities
Gain exposure to real-world supply chain, inventory, and customer dynamics
Your profile:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, Production, or Mechatronics Engineering; a postgraduate degree is an advantage. Passionate about supply chain management with a strong desire to build a successful career in the field. Demonstrates enthusiasm for learning, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
