We also provide product management for core enterprise platforms, and lead technology risk and information security, enterprise data governance and platforms, digital product and design, and enterprise AI platforms on behalf of the company.

Software Engineer I develops and maintains software applications, writes clean and efficient code, completes code reviews with guidance and automated testing to ensure high-quality deliverables, debugs software components, and supports and monitors software across various environments.

Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain software applications to support business and customer needs.

Write clean, efficient, scalable, and well-documented code that adheres to established engineering standards and best practices.

Participate in code reviews and automated testing activities, incorporating feedback and guidance from peers and technical leaders to improve code quality.

Design, build, and maintain responsive web applications using modern technologies and sound software engineering principles.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in software components by identifying defects, analyzing root causes, and implementing appropriate fixes.

Support, monitor, and maintain applications across development, testing, integration, and production environments to ensure reliability and performance.

Collaborate effectively with product, business, and engineering teams to align technical solutions with organizational goals and customer requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline; equivalent practical experience may also be considered.

Foundational understanding of the tools, processes, and methodologies used throughout the software development lifecycle, including planning, analysis, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Technical Skills

1–2 years of experience in software development with modern front-end technologies, including React, Redux, ES6/ES7, React Testing Library (RTL), and Jest.

Strong understanding of web development fundamentals, including HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM manipulation, and JSON.

Experience building adaptive, responsive, and user-friendly web applications across multiple devices and platforms.

Knowledge of developing and maintaining microservices using technologies such as Java, Vert.x, Spring Boot, or similar frameworks.

Familiarity with distributed systems, multi-tier application architectures, algorithms, and relational database concepts.

Experience with software testing practices, including automated, functional, integration, and performance testing, as well as maintaining technical documentation.

Understanding of Agile software development methodologies and frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, iterative development, and user story-driven delivery.

Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, learn new technologies quickly, and apply engineering best practices to deliver high-quality solutions.

Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and the ability to leverage them to improve productivity, code quality, and development efficiency.
