Overview

Application

We are WisdomAI.

We exist to help people unlock clarity from complexity.

WisdomAI builds AI-powered analytics that put answers directly in the hands of the people closest to the business. Our platform doesn’t just surface insights — it explains the why behind them, helping teams move from data to decisions with speed, confidence, and context.

We’re trusted by companies like Cisco, Patreon, and Rubrik — and we’re just getting started. The problems here are hard, and the expectations are high. Our team is energized by both. If you’re compelled by ambitious problems, high standards, and meaningful ownership, you’ll thrive here.

This role

Backed by Wisdom's adaptive context layer, at the core is generative UI: the charts, dashboards, and insights are generated, not built screen by screen. And it runs wherever people already are: web, mobile, Slack or embedded within their web app. The problems are hard, the UX has no playbook!

You own a user-facing surface end to end and sweat how it feels. We're hiring at the mid to senior level, with room for staff engineers who still love to build.

How we work

Builders: You're a frontend engineer at heart. Some of us run 50/50 frontend and backend. Some stay frontend-heavy on the hard UI and visualization work. We build the role around you.

Ownership:Engineers own projects here, from requirements to ship. PMs and designers are partners and input, not a queue you wait behind. Wherever the work starts, we build it – together.

Proximity: You'll work closely with customers, through sales and support and as directly as you want. Staying close is how any of us build something people love to use.

Judgement: We all work across the stack with AI doing a lot of the typing. Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, pick your flavor, most of us use all three. So the job isn't typing anymore. It's taste and judgment about what's worth building and whether it's any good.

Fluidity: The work spans three teams: Dashboard & Visualization, Chat & Context, and Agents & Integrations. You'll land where you fit and where the work is, and move between them as the product grows.

What you'd work on

A few of the problems open right now:

Generating code that produces visualizations good enough to ship: charts, and dense P&L tables where every number and pixel has to land. Two hard parts. The data transforms that turn raw rows into a real financial statement, and chart specs that come out looking like a pro built them, without latency growing as the visual gets more complex.

Designing the edit experience for AI-generated visuals, where typing a follow-up and reaching for a knob should feel like the same product. Live-preview controls only work if the visual comes out parameterized in the first place, with the knobs UI built from those parameters.

Streaming a chat agent's thinking as a trace you can click into, so a business user can watch what it did and open any step while it's still running. The trick is turning a messy pile of tool calls into something that reads like a sentence. It should earn trust in the answer and still get out of the way of the result.

Building the React SDK other data teams build on, to drop in dashboards and chat or assemble something of their own with WisdomAI underneath. It lives or dies on the abstraction: the APIs, the docs, the examples that make building on us feel easy instead of like a fight.

You may be a good fit if you

Ship with React, TypeScript, and Node, and obsess over the polish and the details

Have product instinct: you can take a fuzzy customer pain and decide what's worth building

Run on high agency, you find the work and drive it instead of waiting for a ticket

Want customers close enough that they shape what you build

Have a Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent

Strong candidates may also have

Data viz, BI, GenUI or dashboarding experience

A real eye for design and polish

Time at an early-stage or founding team
