WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will be a part of the Global Technology organization working on Nike’s internal Consumer Product & Innovation software tools for enabling creation of Nike’s Footwear and Apparel and report to the team’s Software Engineering Manager based in Bengaluru. You will collaborate with a team of engineers in partnership with the team’s Product Manager working on software projects to achieve Nike’s business objectives.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Software Engineer to solve problems supporting Nike’s pursuit of delivering state of the art tools to our product designers and broader creation community. The candidate needs to be highly collaborative with peers, productive in a fast-paced development environment.

What you bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience

0–2 years of software development experience

Experience with React or Vue.js

Experience with cloud architecture, DevOps, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and related tools

Experience with AWS services including Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, and S3

Experience with Mocha, Jasmine, and Jest

Strong grasp of design patterns and computer science fundamentals

Preferred experience with AI, machine learning, and data solutions

Experience with modern architectures such as REST, domain-driven design, and microservices

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to build strong collaborative relationships

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will be part of a team of engineers building software solutions for our partners in the Nike design community. These are some things you will work on:

Design, develop, and operate scalable software solutions that support Nike’s design and creation community across web, front-end, and cloud-native platforms

Build and enhance responsive, accessible, and performant web experiences using modern front-end technologies, design systems, and browser capabilities

Build and integrate cloud-native platforms, applications, APIs, and services using an API-first engineering approach

Develop sofware by participating in Agile sprint ceremonies and working on software tasks assigned to you

Collaborate closely with other engineers, product managers, designers, and business partners to deliver intuitive, reliable, and high-quality software solutions

Support the full software development lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and operational excellence

Improve usability, performance, scalability, resilience, and maintainability across user-facing applications and backend services
