@CommerceIQ, you will :

  1. Contribute to building agentic AI products and backend capabilities from the ground up

  2. Design and deliver backend features with guidance from senior engineers, while taking ownership of well-scoped components end to end

  3. Translate technical specs into clean, scalable backend services and APIs

  4. Help implement the core architecture of a new product alongside the team

  5. Work with cross-functional partners across engineering, product, and go-to-market teams to understand requirements and integrate with the broader CommerceIQ platform

  6. Write clean, well-tested code and contribute to technical documentation

  7. Participate in code reviews and grow into the engineering standards we set as a team

What you will need:

  1. 1 to 3 years of professional backend software engineering experience

  2. Strong fundamentals in Java or Python, with experience shipping production backend services

  3. Exposure to or strong curiosity about agentic or generative AI systems, with eagerness to build in this space

  4. Familiarity with technologies such as Postgres, Databricks, and AWS, or comparable stacks

  5. Ability to break down well-scoped problems and drive them to completion with support from senior engineers

  6. Good product sense and willingness to collaborate closely with cross-functional partners

  7. Comfort working in an early-stage or evolving environment where priorities can change quickly
