Job Description:

Graduate Trainee/Apprenticeship – Performance & Reporting

Apprenticeship is a 12-month program that will provide a comprehensive learning experience, blending theoretical knowledge with on-the-job training. Over the 12-month period, apprentices at Russell Investments will gain valuable exposure to industry while developing essential soft skills and acclimating to a professional corporate environment.

Should not be self-employed

Should not be enrolled under other government-funded programs

Should not be practicing professionally at the time of application

Should not be registered on EPF/ ESIC Portal

Should not have completed their education from a foreign university

Apprentices who enroll should have their Aadhaar seeded with their personal mobile number and personal email address. This is a mandate.

Team Overview:

The Performance & Reporting team is responsible for measuring, analyzing, and reporting investment performance across a range of client portfolios and investment strategies. The team supports institutional and wealth management clients by delivering accurate performance calculations, attribution analysis, client reports, and reconciliation of portfolio data.

Key responsibilities include:

Calculation and validation of portfolio and benchmark performance returns.

Analysis of investment performance and identification of performance drivers.

Production and delivery of periodic client performance reports.

Data reconciliation across accounting, performance, and reporting platforms.

Investigation and resolution of performance and data exceptions.

Support for client inquiries related to performance results and reporting.

Development of automated reporting solutions, dashboards, and process improvements using data analytics tools.

Ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and adherence to regulatory and client reporting requirements.

Assist in investment performance analysis and reporting activities.

Support data reconciliation and exception investigation processes.

Help automate manual reporting and operational tasks using Python and other tools.

Assist in developing dashboards and management reports using Power BI.

Perform data quality checks and support process improvement initiatives.

Collaborate with team members on reporting, analytics, and operational projects.

Preferred Educational Background:
