As an Engineer in Solutions Engineering at RXO, you will apply your analytical and engineering skills to support the design and delivery of supply chain network optimization studies. You will use rigorous data collection and analysis to identify opportunities, develop insights, and support the creation of marketable, data-driven solutions that improve customer supply chain operations. What your day-to-day will look like:

· Support supply chain network and transportation optimization studies through research, data collection, and analysis.

· Perform data mining, validation, and scenario analysis to identify cost, service, and efficiency improvement opportunities within a customer’s supply chain.

· Assist in building and running models using Coupa Supply Chain Guru or similar network optimization and decision-support tools.

· Analyze transportation, distribution, and inventory data to support recommendations and solution design.

· Develop dashboards, reports, and analytical outputs using Power BI, Excel, Access, SQL, or similar tools.

· Support the preparation of customer-ready materials, including presentations, summaries, and visualizations.

· Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to refine assumptions, validate results, and iterate analyses based on feedback.

· Contribute to the development and documentation of standard operating procedures and best practices.


What you’ll need to excel

At a minimum, you’ll need:

· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or another technical and/or analytical field.

· 1 year of experience in one or more key functional areas, including supply chain management, logistics, transportation management, distribution, procurement, or decision support systems/technology.

· Strong analytical skills, including experience with data analysis and data mining using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and/or Microsoft Access.

· Ability to structure, analyze, and interpret data to identify and scope opportunities within a customer’s supply chain.

It’d be great if you also have:

· Exposure to supply chain network optimization, transportation modeling, or scenario analysis.

· Experience with Coupa Supply Chain Guru, Optilogic Cosmic Frog, or similar modeling tools (academic, internship, or professional).

· Experience collecting and preparing data for modeling, network optimization, or transportation redesign purposes.

· Experience developing dashboards or analytical reports using Power BI or similar visualization tools.

· Strong communication skills with experience preparing presentations or analytical summaries.

· Lean or continuous improvement exposure (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar).
