As a Software Development Engineer in Crew Domain, you will be involved in design, development, and optimization of complex software applications. You will actively contribute and collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and implement scalable cloud-based solutions on AWS. Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based applications using AWS services.

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code and contribute to both front-end and back-end development as a full-stack engineer.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field is preferred.

2+ years of experience developing cloud-native applications with strong focus on code quality, unit testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.

Strong proficiency in Java 17+ (preferred) or Python/Node.js. Working knowledge of Angular 17+, event-driven architectures, message queuing technologies, and microservice design patterns.

Knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server; basic understanding of database design, query optimization, indexing, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

Experience with Kubernetes platforms such as OpenShift, ROSA, EKS, or AKS, including application deployment and operational management.

Experience with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes and DevOps practices & tools like Gitlab CI/CD.

Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and building distributed systems.

Basic familiarity with AWS AI/ML services such as Amazon SageMaker, Bedrock, and AgentCore.

Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, Kiro) to accomplish tasks such as generating and reviewing code, writing and maintaining tests, creating documentation, and debugging, with the judgment to validate and own AI-generated output.

Understanding prompt engineering, AI workflows, or model integration patterns.
