Software Engineer (BLR)

We are looking for a Software Engineer with strong backend development experience in C#/.NET to help build scalable cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure. You'll take ownership of features from design through deployment, contribute to technical design discussions, and work with modern engineering practices—including AI-assisted development tools—to deliver high-quality software in a collaborative environment. 🎯 What Success Looks Like in This Role
Design, build, and maintain scalable services and applications using C# and .NET
Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications on Microsoft Azure
Contribute to front-end development using React where required.
Apply clean architecture and design principles to build maintainable software.
Be comfortable using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, or similar) to improve code quality, speed up delivery, and reduce repetitive work
Participate in design discussions, and sprint planning
Write clean, well-tested, well-documented code
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with independence
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions
Required Qualifications:
2–4 years of professional software development experience
Strong proficiency in C# and .NET (Core/Framework)
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Azure SQL, DevOps pipelines, or similar)
Solid understanding of object-oriented design and software design principles
Experience writing unit/integration tests
Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows
Ability to work independently on well-scoped features and collaborate on larger initiatives
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with React or willingness to learn
Practical experience using AI development tools to boost productivity
Exposure to microservices, containerization, or event-driven architecture
Understanding of RESTful API design and best practices
Experience with Agile/Scrum development
What Success Looks Like
Within your first 90 days, you will:
Be fully onboarded to our codebase, tooling, and Azure environment
Ship your first meaningful feature or bug fix with minimal supervision
Understand our design and coding standards, and apply them consistently
Within your first 6 months, you will:
Independently own small-to-medium features from design through deployment
Contribute effectively in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to peers
Use AI-assisted tools as a natural part of your workflow to increase velocity without sacrificing code quality
Identify and propose improvements to existing systems or processes
Within your first year, you will:
Be trusted to make sound architectural and design decisions on your projects
Take ownership of a service or module end-to-end, including its reliability and performance in Azure
Be seen as a reliable, self-sufficient contributor who consistently delivers well-designed, well-tested code
