About ZFunds
ZFunds is a mutual fund distribution platform serving retail investors and advisors across India. We operate within the regulated Indian fintech ecosystem, working across KYC, mandates, transactions, and reporting integrations with industry platforms and rails such as BSE StAR MF, KFintech, CAMS, and AMFI.

🚀 Role Overview
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer – MERN Stack with 1.5–2 years of experience to join our engineering team.
You will work across the application stack, building and maintaining user-facing features, APIs, backend services, and database integrations. You will work closely with senior engineers and take ownership of features from development through testing and production.
This role is ideal for a developer with strong fundamentals in React.js, Node.js, Express.js, JavaScript, and database technologies, along with a willingness to learn and work in a fast-moving Fintech environment.
🎯 What Success Looks Like in This Role
Develop responsive and scalable web applications using React.js.
Build backend services and REST APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
Design and integrate APIs between frontend and backend systems.
Work with databases and write efficient queries.
Build reusable frontend components and maintain clean, scalable code.
Integrate third-party and financial technology systems.
Debug application and production issues and identify root causes.
Write tests and participate in code reviews.
Work closely with senior engineers, product, and other internal teams.
Contribute to ongoing product and technology modernization initiatives.
What We're Looking For
1.5–2 years of experience in Full Stack / MERN Stack development.
Strong hands-on experience with React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and JavaScript.
Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, authentication, and API integration.
Strong understanding of frontend fundamentals, component-based development, and responsive UI.
Experience working with databases such as MongoDB and/or PostgreSQL.
Good understanding of SQL and database concepts.
Familiarity with Git and code review workflows.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Ability to understand requirements and independently work toward solutions.
Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
AI-Readiness
We encourage engineers to use AI coding tools as a productivity multiplier.
You should be comfortable with tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar AI development tools and, more importantly, be able to review, test, and validate AI-generated code before using it in production.
We value developers who continuously explore better ways to build, test, debug, and ship software safely.
Nice to Have
Experience working in Fintech, BFSI, Payments, or other regulated domains.
Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, or MongoDB.
Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD.
Exposure to cloud deployment.
Experience with background jobs, queues, or event-driven systems.
Familiarity with application monitoring, logs, and debugging tools.
