Job Description\n\nThe Apprentice will provide AI and automation support to the Global Finance Operations & Transformation (GFO&T) team, focusing on optimizing accounting and reporting processes. The role aims to enhance efficiency, reduce control risks, and support the team in achieving operational excellence. \n\n### Key Responsibilities\n\nSupport the identification and implementation of AI and automation solutions to streamline accounting and reporting processes. \n\nAssist in developing tools and processes to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and mitigate control risks. \n\nCollaborate with team members to understand existing workflows and identify opportunities for automation. \n\nLeverage advanced tools such as MS Excel, Power BI, Python, and SQL to design and implement solutions. \n\nProvide insights and recommendations for process improvements using AI and automation technologies. \n\nEnsure compliance with internal controls and contribute to maintaining a robust control environment. \n\nSupport the team in day-to-day activities and ad hoc projects as required. \n\n### Skills and Qualifications\n\nRequired: \n\nBachelor’s degree in Technology (B.Tech) or equivalent. \n\nProficiency in MS Excel (Advanced), Power BI, Python, and SQL. \n\nPreferred: \n\nExposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and their application in process automation/enhancement. \n\n### Experience Level\n\nFresher , Recent Graduate \n\n### Key Competencies\n\nCollaboration: Ability to work effectively with team members and stakeholders to achieve shared goals. \n\nComprehension: Strong analytical skills to understand complex processes and identify opportunities for improvement. \n\nProblem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying challenges and proposing innovative solutions. \n\n### Reporting Structure\n\nReports to: Head - Subledger Accounting, Bangalore. \n\n### Culture and Values\n\nThe Apprentice is expected to embody Swiss Re’s Culture Forces: \n\nBusiness Drive: Demonstrate a proactive approach to achieving impactful outcomes and delivering value to the team. \n\nApplied Intellect: Use curiosity and analytical thinking to identify and implement innovative solutions. \n\nExecution Power: Execute tasks with discipline, speed, and clarity, ensuring high-quality results. \n\nSwiss Re Spirit: Foster collaboration, inclusion, and mutual respect within the team and across the organization.
