Job Description

As an SDET Engineer, you’ll be embedded with our engineering team, driving the test strategy across our suite of payment solutions. You'll design and implement robust test automation frameworks and contribute to a culture of engineering quality. You'll understand the criticality of precision, compliance, and speed in building financial products, and you’ll thrive in the agility and flexibility of a startup environment.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for web, backend, and API services using modern methodologies like modern test automation frameworks, continuous testing, and shift-left testing methodologies.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and DevOps to integrate quality throughout the development lifecycle and ensure testability from design to release.

Investigate test failures, identify root causes, and prevent regressions, contributing to a culture of proactive quality assurance.

Drive testing initiatives across performance, security, and reliability, and define quality gates for critical fintech components.

Advocate for best practices in CI/CD, test data management, observability, and regulatory compliance within the payments domain.

ABOUT YOU:

Demonstrable experience as an SDET or QA Engineer with strong automation experience.

Deep understanding of software QA methodologies and best practices in fast-paced environments.

Programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages.

Experience testing RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.

Expertise with tools like Postman, K6/Gatling, Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

Comfortable working in a startup environment - fast-paced & dynamic environment.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines (such as GitHub Actions, AWS CI/CD, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.).

Strong analytical and debugging skills; ability to triage production and test failures.
