Business Operations Intern

Job Description

IBM is looking for high-potential MBA students to join the Business Operations - Special Projects Team for 2-3 months in person internship. The role involves working on strategic, data-driven initiatives with direct exposure to executive leadership.

Your role and responsibilities

· Drive strategic and operational special projects within the Business Operations team

· Analyze business data to generate actionable insights and recommendations

· Build dashboards, models, and reports using Excel and Power BI

· Apply AI/data-driven approaches to improve business performance

· Develop executive-ready presentations and present insights to senior leadership

· Work cross-functionally to execute initiatives end-to-end

Required education

Master's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced analytics, modeling)

· Knowledge of Power BI and data visualization

· Basic understanding of AI and Data Science concepts

· Ability to work independently on complex problem statements

· Strong structured thinking and problem-solving skill

Preferred technical and professional experience

· Strong analytical and strategic thinking capability

· Excellent English communication and presentation skill
